Ceramique Clinic Seoul: what to verify before booking a lifting treatment

Most people searching ceramique clinic seoul are holding a quote for a lifting treatment and trying to work out whether the clinic is what it looks like. The site is Korean, the name is French, and English-language information is close to non-existent.

Here is what we could actually confirm from the clinic's own site, what device-based lifting depends on at any Korean clinic, and how to get a second written quote before you agree to a shot count you have not seen.

KCODI books appointments and supplies medical interpreters. We are not affiliated with this clinic and are neither recommending it nor warning against it.

What we could confirm from the official site

The clinic presents itself as 세라미크의원 강남점, written in Latin script as Céramique, and describes itself in its own site metadata as a dermatology clinic near Gangnam Station. Two addresses are given in Gangnam-gu, Seoul: a main building on Bongeunsa-ro 2-gil and an annexe on Bongeunsa-ro 6-gil.

The site notes that the main building has no parking of its own and asks visitors to use nearby car parks, and that the annexe has a small number of spaces which need to be reserved in advance. It also flags reduced hours around the Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays.

Beyond that we have to be honest with you. Most of the site is built to load in the browser rather than to be read by a fetcher, so on the check date above we could not retrieve the treatment menu, the full opening hours or any statement about foreign-language support, and we found no English version. Confirm all of that with the clinic in writing before you travel rather than trusting a summary, including ours.

If lifting is why you are here, what the ultrasound and radiofrequency devices actually do, how long a result holds and how many sessions are usual are set out on our laser and energy lifting page.

Why lifting quotes are so hard to compare

Lifting is sold by the shot, the line, the area or the session, and almost never the same way twice. That is the whole reason two quotes for the same face can look nothing alike.

  • Ultrasound devices are usually counted in lines or shots. A quote without a number is not a quote, it is a starting position.
  • Radiofrequency devices are usually counted in shots or in passes over an area. A low per-shot figure with a small shot count is more expensive than it looks.
  • The cartridge or tip matters. Depths are chosen for the area being treated, and the depth used changes both the result and the cost.
  • Genuine devices and unbranded equivalents look identical to a patient lying down. The difference is on the box and in the counter reading.
  • A face-and-neck quote and a face-only quote are routinely presented as the same thing. Ask which areas are included, by name.

None of that is unique to one clinic. It is how the whole category is sold in Gangnam, and it is why a written quote beats any review you can find. Other clinics in the same bracket are covered in our note on Oracle dermatology.

Ask to see the device counter before and after. It is the only number that is hard to argue with.

Six things to check before booking any Korean clinic

These six apply everywhere in Korea, and they matter more when the clinic's site is written only for domestic patients.

General guidance for any dermatology clinic in Korea, not specific to one clinic.
CheckWhat to askWhat a clear answer looks like
Who treats youWhether a doctor operates the device throughoutThe doctor is in the room for the whole session, not the first minute
Which deviceThe device name and the cartridge or tip usedYou are shown the equipment and the settings before it starts
How many shotsThe shot or line count, written down before treatmentA written number, and the counter shown at the end
Itemised quoteAreas, device, count and price on separate linesA written breakdown you can photograph and compare
Aftercare and reviewWhat to avoid, and when the result is judgedA written aftercare note and a review date that fits your flight
Foreign-patient registrationWhether the clinic is registered to treat overseas patientsThe clinic shows the registration rather than describing it

Reading reviews of a clinic that publishes only in Korean

When there is no English information, reviews feel like the only evidence available. They are the weakest evidence available, so use them narrowly.

  1. Translate the Korean reviews rather than reading the handful in English. Domestic reviewers argue about shot counts and price changes, which is exactly what you need.
  2. Read for administration, not results: whether the booking held, whether the price matched the quote, whether a follow-up question was answered.
  3. Discount-for-review posting is legal and common in Korea. A run of enthusiastic posts in one week is a campaign, not a trend.
  4. Skip before-and-after photographs. Lifting results are subtle and photograph conditions are not, which is why the photographs always win.

If you would rather compare clinics on things you can verify, our guide to choosing a skin clinic in Seoul as a foreigner uses criteria that survive translation.

Get a second itemised quote before you agree to a count

A lifting quote becomes comparable the moment two clinics write down the device, the areas and the number. That takes one message and commits you to nothing.

Not sure whether lifting, boosters or a laser is the right answer for what is bothering you? Clinic matching takes about two minutes, and the interpreters page shows who would be with you on the day.

The session, and the weeks afterwards

Lifting is the treatment travellers judge soonest and understand slowest. Knowing the timeline beforehand prevents a second booking you do not need.

  • Expect tenderness and some redness on the day. Ask how long it usually lasts for the device being used and plan the rest of your trip around it.
  • The visible change builds over weeks, not days. Ask when the result should be assessed and write that date down before you leave.
  • Get the device name, the areas and the count on the receipt. If you ever repeat the treatment at home, that line is the only comparable record you will have.
  • Ask what to avoid and for how long. Heat, saunas and alcohol come up most, and the Korean advice is usually stricter than you expect.
  • If something feels uneven after a week, ask now how to reach the clinic from abroad. A Korean mobile number is not a contact method once you have flown home.

The full range of treatments and what each one is honestly good for is grouped on our dermatology page, which is a steadier starting point than a clinic name someone mentioned.

Questions patients ask us

Does Ceramique Clinic in Seoul have an English site?
We found no English version on the check date above, and the site is published for Korean readers. Assume the consultation and the consent will be in Korean and confirm any language support with the clinic in writing before you travel.
Can KCODI book my appointment at this clinic?
Only partner clinics can be booked through us, and we will tell you plainly whether this one is. Either way we can arrange comparison quotes for the same treatment and send an interpreter to an appointment you booked yourself.
Where is the clinic and is there parking?
The site gives two addresses in Gangnam-gu, on Bongeunsa-ro 2-gil and Bongeunsa-ro 6-gil. It states that the main building has no parking of its own and that the annexe has only a few spaces requiring advance reservation, so take the subway.
What should a lifting quote include?
The device name, the cartridge or tip, the areas being treated and the shot or line count, each written separately alongside the price. A quote that gives only a total for lifting cannot be compared with any other clinic's.
How many lifting sessions will I need?
Most clinics treat once and then reassess after some weeks, with maintenance later rather than a rapid series. Our laser and energy lifting page gives the usual interval, and the doctor decides what suits your skin.
