4ever clinic Seoul: reviews of a branch network are not reviews of your branch
Written by KCODI medical interpreter team · English deskUpdated · 8 min read
People searching 4ever clinic seoul are usually trying to confirm one thing: whether the place they found online is the same place other people wrote about. With a branch network, often it is not.
Below are the facts the clinic states on its own site, why branch networks need a different set of questions, the pre-booking checks that apply anywhere in Korea, and a second itemised quote so you can compare like with like.
KCODI is a booking and medical-interpretation service. We are not affiliated with this clinic and we are neither recommending nor warning against it.
What the official site states
The site gives the Korean names 포에버성형외과 and 포에버의원, rendered in English as 4Ever Clinic, and the Gangnam address as 742 Nonhyeon-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Departments are listed as dermatology, plastic surgery, family medicine and general surgery.
The published treatment list covers fillers, botulinum toxin, lifting procedures named as Ultherapy, Thermage, InMode and thread lifting, skin treatment including toning, acne care and skin boosters, eye surgery such as double eyelid and under-eye fat repositioning, nose surgery, facial contouring, breast surgery, liposuction and hair removal.
On overseas patients, the site lists consultation in Japanese, Mandarin Chinese and English through LINE and WeChat accounts. Opening hours are given as Monday to Friday 10:00 to 20:00 and Saturday 10:00 to 15:30, with a lunch break on weekdays. The site also lists branches across Seoul, Gyeonggi, the Chungcheong and Jeolla provinces and Jeju. Those are the clinic's own statements as of the date checked above.
If body contouring is the reason you are searching, what the operation can and cannot change is set out on our liposuction in Korea page.
Why a branch network needs different questions
A shared brand means shared marketing and often shared pricing. It does not mean shared surgeons, shared equipment or a shared operating theatre.
- Confirm the branch by address, not by brand name. Two locations under one name can be an hour apart.
- Ask whether surgery is performed at the branch you visit or at another site. Consultation and operation are sometimes in different buildings.
- Ask which doctor operates at that branch on your dates, and whether doctors rotate between locations.
- Ask whether the quote you are given is branch-specific. Package prices often are.
- Ask where the follow-up visits happen, and what you do if the nearest branch is not the one that treated you.
Our guide to the difference between a Korean hospital and a clinic explains why the size of the building changes what happens if something goes wrong, which matters more for surgery under sedation than for a laser session.
A clinic listing several departments is also worth reading carefully. Dermatology, plastic surgery, family medicine and general surgery under one roof is normal in Korea and says nothing bad about a practice. It does mean the doctor you meet has a specialty, and that specialty may or may not be the operation you came for. Ask which one, and ask who performs your procedure specifically.
The practical version of all this is one message: which address, which doctor, which dates, and is that doctor operating on those dates. Four answers, one reply. Clinics that run an organised booking desk send them back in a paragraph.
Six checks before you book at any Korean clinic
| Check | Why it matters | How to ask |
|---|---|---|
| Branch and building | Reviews and prices can belong to a different location | Confirm the street address on the booking, not just the brand |
| Operating surgeon | The counselling doctor is not always the operating doctor | Ask for the name on the written quote |
| Itemised quote | Compression garments and aftercare are frequently separate | Ask for surgery, anesthesia, garments, aftercare and follow-ups listed line by line |
| Anesthesia arrangement | Body contouring under sedation needs monitoring throughout | Ask whether a specialist anesthesiologist is present for the whole procedure |
| Foreign patient registration | Registered institutions carry duties toward overseas patients | Ask for it and verify yourself |
| Interpretation | Consent and aftercare are where meaning gets lost | Ask who interprets at consultation and on the day of the procedure |
How to look several of these up without relying on the clinic's own page is covered in checking a clinic's licence and registration.
How to read reviews when a brand has many locations
Search results collapse branches together. A review written about one building is read as though it describes all of them, and neither the writer nor the reader usually notices.
Before you weigh a review, look for the branch, the date and the treatment. If a review names none of the three, it cannot tell you much about the appointment you are about to book. Reviews are decent evidence of process and weak evidence of outcome in any case.
Dates matter more than people expect. Staff move, doctors leave, and a location can change its entire surgical team between one year and the next while keeping the sign above the door. A review from two years ago describes a clinic that may no longer exist in any meaningful sense.
The same applies to prices quoted inside reviews. Event pricing in Seoul runs in cycles, and a figure someone paid last season is not an entitlement this season. Use reviews to learn that a place exists and how it behaves, then get your own written quote.

Get a second itemised quote for the same areas
With area-priced treatment, a comparison only works if both quotes list the same areas. That is worth arranging before you agree to anything.
Not sure yet whether surgery or a non-surgical course fits your situation? Clinic matching narrows it in about two minutes.
Between the consultation and the deposit
Give yourself the evening. Everything below takes less than an hour and it converts a consultation into a decision.
- Write down the branch address, the doctor's name and the treatment areas exactly as agreed. Gaps in that note are gaps in the consultation.
- Read the quote line by line and mark anything you cannot explain, then send those lines back as questions.
- Check the aftercare schedule against your flight. Garment wear and massage appointments run for weeks, and clinics rarely volunteer how that interacts with travel.
- Ask what happens if you develop a problem after you fly home, who you contact, and in which language.
- Sleep on it before paying. Date pressure at a first consultation is a sales technique, not a medical constraint.
If you decide against it, one message is enough and you owe no explanation. If you decide for it, keep every screenshot of what you were told before you paid — that thread is the only record most patients ever have.
