V Moment Clinic Gangnam: what a lifting quote has to say before you agree

If you have searched v moment clinic gangnam, the decision is close. There is usually a message thread with a coordinator, a number at the bottom of it, and no clear idea of what that number buys.

This page keeps to what the clinic states about itself, then moves to the part reviews never cover: how lifting is priced in Seoul, what has to appear in writing, and how to get a second itemised quote for the same treatment.

KCODI is a booking and medical-interpretation service. We are not affiliated with this clinic and are neither recommending nor warning against it.

What the official site states

The site gives the name as V MOMENT CLINIC, 브이모먼트 in Korean, at Dosan-daero 49-gil in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the fourth floor. One location is listed, not a chain, which at least means the clinic you read about is the clinic you will sit in.

The stated menu groups into skin boosters, lifting by ultrasound, radiofrequency and threads, skin regeneration treatments, and body care including hair removal. Hours are given as 10:00 to 20:00 on weekdays and 10:00 to 16:00 at weekends, with a lunch break between 13:00 and 14:00. The site carries Korean, English, Japanese and Chinese versions. All of that is the clinic's own description as of the date checked above.

Two of those categories often get confused in English. Device lifting and thread lifting do different things to different layers, and a quote that mixes them without saying so is hard to compare with anything. Our laser and energy lifting page sets out what each type acts on.

Who searches a Gangnam lifting clinic, and why

The messages our interpreters get about clinics like this one fall into a narrow band, and it is rarely about whether the clinic is good.

  • A visitor with four days who wants one lifting session and needs to know how visible the swelling will be at the airport.
  • Someone comparing two quotes that use different units — one counted in shots, one counted in lines — and therefore comparing nothing.
  • A returning patient who had threads placed elsewhere and wants to know whether a new clinic will touch a face someone else worked on.
  • Someone who read that a device has a brand-name applicator and wants to confirm the clinic is using the genuine consumable rather than a compatible one.

Every one of those is answerable by message before you fly. None of them appears in a review.

Six things to check before booking any lifting clinic in Korea

General checks for any Seoul clinic offering lifting, this one included.

What lifting reviews can and cannot show you

Lifting photographs badly and honestly. Lighting, angle, jaw position and the day of the photograph change the apparent result more than the treatment does, and a face photographed with the chin slightly raised will always look tighter.

So read reviews for process, not for outcome. Did the coordinator's quote match the invoice? Was the numbing time long enough? Did anyone call afterwards? Was the second session honoured at the first session's price? These are checkable claims, which is exactly why promotional content leaves them out.

It is also worth knowing that reviews with a discount attached are ordinary in Korea and legal in narrow forms. That does not make them lies. It means they were written by someone who had a reason to be pleased, in public, quickly. Weight them accordingly, and check how to verify a clinic's licence and registration rather than counting stars.

Ask for a second quote on the same units

Once you have the unit count in writing, a second quote becomes useful rather than confusing. Same zones, same unit, same consumable, different clinic: that is a comparison.

If you are not yet sure whether you want device lifting, threads or neither, clinic matching will narrow it quickly, and the interpreter team can sit in on the consultation while you decide.

The hour before the numbing cream

There is a short window at every lifting appointment, between arriving and the anaesthetic cream going on, when changes to the plan are still free. Use it.

  1. Read the invoice and match it to the message thread. Different numbers are a conversation to have now, not afterwards.
  2. Confirm the unit count and the zones out loud, and ask the person who will actually perform the treatment, not the coordinator.
  3. Ask to see the consumable package unopened. This is routine in Korea and nobody finds it rude.
  4. Say your travel dates again. Bruising along the jawline from threads can last longer than a short trip, and a doctor who knows your flight may adjust the approach.
  5. Agree what happens if the result settles unevenly, and get the follow-up window in writing before you lie down.

After treatment, the rules are duller than the marketing: no heavy chewing for a while with threads, no saunas or hot springs for the period the clinic gives you, sleep with your head raised. The clinic will say this in Korean at the door while you are still numb, which is the single most common point at which instructions get lost.

Ask for the aftercare sheet in writing, photograph it, and keep the thread with the coordinator. If something changes after you fly home, that thread is the only record you have.

Questions patients ask us

Can KCODI book me at V Moment Clinic?
Only partner clinics can be booked through us, and we will say plainly whether this one is. Either way we can get comparison quotes for the same treatment at partner clinics, and send an interpreter with you to an appointment you booked yourself.
How long does swelling from a thread lift last?
Most patients look ordinary in a few days and slightly puffy for one to two weeks, with bruising along the jawline in some cases. Your doctor decides based on how many strands were placed and where, so ask before you book a flight close behind the appointment.
Is device lifting or thread lifting better for a short trip?
Energy-based lifting generally has less downtime, while threads give a more immediate lift and more visible early swelling. They act on different things, so the answer depends on your face and your doctor's assessment, not on the schedule alone.
Do Gangnam clinics charge foreigners more for lifting?
Prices are not regulated, and quotes given in English sometimes start from a different menu than the Korean one. Asking in Korean, at the local partner rate, with the unit count itemised, is the practical defence and it is exactly what our interpreters do.
Can I claim a tax refund on cosmetic treatment in Korea?
No. The VAT refund for foreign patients on cosmetic procedures ended on 31 December 2025. Treat any offer of one as a sign the information you are reading is out of date.
