The other half of the clinic's day. Laser hair removal targets pigment in the follicle, so it works best on dark hair against lighter skin, and it works over a course rather than in one visit because only hairs in the growing phase respond.
- Expect several sessions, typically spaced weeks apart. One trip covers one session, so plan the rest at home or across repeat visits.
- Shave the area the day before. Do not wax or pluck for several weeks beforehand, because the laser needs the follicle occupied.
