Three distinct styles sit behind the same English word, and clinics rarely translate the difference.

Korean clinic menus invent names faster than anyone can translate them. An aqua glossy treatment in Korea usually means a water-based cleansing step, an ampoule or infusion, and a finishing mask, with massage in the middle. - Ask what the programme contains, step by step. Names are marketing; the step list is the product.
- Ask whether anything in the programme is injected or uses a needle, because that changes who is legally allowed to do it.
- Ask how long the session runs. A glossy-sounding name on a thirty-minute slot is a short facial.

- Ask what the same programme costs on a second visit, not just the first-visit event price.
Finding an affordable facial in Seoul without guessing

- Treat a very low advertised number as a first-visit offer, and ask the regular price.
