Through the tests
There are around ten machines and a dozen instructions: look at the light, do not blink, chin forward. She is beside you for each one, then translates every result the doctor explains.
On surgery day
She walks you through what you will see, hear and smell during the laser, so nothing startles you. She takes you back to the hotel with your eyes shielded.
Drops and checks
